How do you mail your cookies?

…or may not see, each get a tub of homemade cookies for them to share with their immediate families. When I don’t give a gift I usually give cookies.
I don’t have any immediate family so I end up buying a lot for my extended family.

How do you mail your cookies? I have had non-success trying to send food through the mail, which is a shame because I love baking.
