I don’t know what Y Combinator is planning to hand out yet, so this is a complete hypothetical. The Science study claimed a one-time payment of $1,000 (to a person in need of money) would prevent homelessness for two years. I’m kind of arguing that even an extra $1,000 a month might not enable us all to quit our jobs and become creators/volunteers.
