I just read that Nautilus piece about the lottery and how “fantasizing about winning the lottery activates the same parts of our brains that would be activated if we actually won.”

Does it activate the same parts of the brain even if you don’t buy a ticket? Because I might just spend the rest of the evening activating my brain AND saving $2…
