I swear I think about doing this at least once a week, and I always get stuck on the “lack of mobility” point. Right now the majority of my friends don’t live on the same city but we do live on the same coast, and enough of us travel between LA/Portland/Seattle that we see each other nearly as much as we might if we were all living in LA, Portland, or Seattle.

Every time I think “well, I could always move to a small town” I remember that I’ll lose that.
