Oh no, I figured if this were an actual Gilmore Girls holiday episode, it would have a happy ending.

(Plus I couldn’t figure out how to do a true Gift of the Magi. Like, would Sookie sell her oven to buy… seeds? And would Jackson sell some of his land to buy Sookie a bigger kitchen? None of that made any sense.)
