So if I started working full-time after I graduated from college in 2004… that’s 12 years ago, so I have 23 years of full-time work left to go?

Maybe more than that, because even though I was working during the grad school years, they probably didn’t count as “substantial” earnings.

Still. Even if I’ve got 25 years of work left, I could retire at 60! In theory!

(That’s not how it really works, is it.)
