Those exist. Private bathrooms but shared kitchens. They’re called Apodments.

I would be more inclined to build 10 X 10 apartments with doors that lock and shared bathroom/kitchen amenities. I have designed these in my head using stainless steel, laminate and other hard-to-destroy material…
I’d want some solid walls; for privacy, for smells, for sanity.
