Well, the thing I like about the cruise is that it’s a small town on a boat with most of my friends living in it :)

And Portland did pass the sniff test, but it didn’t pass the “can I afford this right now” test.

So I don’t know. I suspect that finding the combination of affordable+community of peers+low time cost of getting from place to place is impossible. Pick two, right?
