What exactly did I spend discretionary money on in July? I feel like I should give a breakdown:

  • Fourth of July party
  • Two birthday presents
  • Patreon pledges
  • Charitable donations
  • Haircut
  • A book, after attending an author’s launch reading
  • Fun Home
  • The Fun Home T-shirt
  • An ice cream
  • A chocolate truffle
  • A necklace (YES I KNOW I SAID I WASN’T BUYING UNNECESSARY STUFF, this was right at the end of the month when I was like “okay, I might have some financial room to breathe here” and I immediately bought something shiny)
